My name is Alexa Lux, and I’m offering this work in collaboration with the spirit of nature as an invitation deeper into your personal empowerment & connection with the natural world through voice.
I’ve been a singer all my life and I followed that passion to music school and a professional music career. But my real connection to voice emerged on the banks of rivers, in old growth forests, on steep mountainside ridges… not in classrooms or on stages.
Nature taught me how to hear my soul songs. The tones & melodies arising in my heart, attuned to my surroundings, unique to the moment, that allow me to communicate directly with deep consciousness and everything around me.
Expressing my Soul Songs in this way taught me new intimacy that has touched every part of my life. I’ve learned about the healing power of the voice & experienced its incredible ability to build whole-self confidence.

How we enter into our practice sessions will determine their quality & outcome. Starting with meditation/visualization and communicating directly with the voice sets you up for success.

Breath is undeniably the most important foundation of singing. Every session begins with breath practices that develop breath awareness, lung capacity, & breath control.

The shape of our resonator determines how the sound will come out. Working with vowels allows us to explore placement, range, and the more subtle nuances of vocal tone.

Our somatic experience is an invaluable part of singing. Body awareness not only informs the practice, but is also a beneficial outcome. The healing available through voice is accessed through sensation.
